Do I need IT experience to enroll?
No. The ISC2 CC is specifically designed for complete beginners. Basic computer literacy is helpful, but no prior security or IT work experience is required to register for the exam or take our course.
Is the exam really free?
Through ISC2's One Million Certified in Cybersecurity (1MCC) initiative, you can claim one free exam attempt after registering as an ISC2 Candidate. If you do not pass on your first try, the retake costs $199 USD at standard rate. After passing, you pay a $50 USD Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF) to activate and maintain your certification.
What does the $100 CAD training fee cover?
Our fee covers four weeks of live virtual instruction via Zoom, comprehensive study notes, domain summaries, full-length CAT-style mock exams, one dedicated 1-on-1 coaching session, access to our private learner community, and 30 days of post-exam support after your exam date.
How are the sessions delivered?
All sessions are delivered online via Zoom. All sessions are recorded so you can revisit them at any time. You also receive comprehensive self-study materials to supplement live instruction and study at your own pace between sessions.
What is the next certification after CC?
After the CC, your natural progression is CompTIA Security+ for technical depth, ISC2 SSCP for systems security administration, or ISACA CISA if you are interested in IT audit and governance. Our instructor will provide a personalized career roadmap based on your specific goals.
